There are illustrated with 12 chromo-lithographed and four black-and-white engravings. The boards have shelf wear, rubbing, and soiling, and the corners are bumped and frayed. The spine's head and tail are frayed. The text block has gilt edges. The inner text block has some damp staining on the front pages, a slight tear on the front free endpaper, torn tissue paper on the front engraving, and the pages are tanned. Otherwise, the pages are clean and unmarked, and the binding is secure.
