Wind, Sand and Stars / 1940
Wind, Sand and Stars / 1940
By Antoine de Saint Exupery
From the author of the beloved classic, The Little Prince, and a winner of the Grand Prix of the Académie Française, Wind, Sand, and Stars capture the grandeur, danger, and isolation of flight. Its exciting account of air adventure, combined with lyrical prose and the spirit of a philosopher, makes it one of the most popular works ever written about flying. Translated by Lewis Galantière.
Book: Very good. Dust Jacket: Good. The jacket is scuffed, with tears, bends, and chips at edges, corners, and spine endings. The front inner flap is price-clipped. Added mylar archival sleeve to dust jacket for protection. The boards have a little bit of foxing. The text block has tanning throughout, and the head edge is top-stained blue and slightly faded. The binding is tight and square. 306pp
