These two large volumes are the plate volumes of the Archaeology section of the Biologia Centrali-Americana series. They cover the principal archaeological sites of the Maya and other sites in Mexico and Guatemala. Originally published in 1899 to 1902, this facsimile reprint accurately reproduces the high-quality black-and-white photos and line drawings of the original work.
Books (1 & 2): Near Fine. Dust jacket: The boards are blue with a gilt title on the front cover and the spine. The is a small amount of scuffing on the front cover; however, more prominent on the back cover. There is a slight amount of tanning throughout the text block. The pages are clean and unmarked. The binding is tight.
