by Mark Twain
Illustrated by Honore Gulbeau
Book Condition: Very Good. | Dust Jacket: No Jackets
The hardcover is bound in richly textured maroon leather with 22 kt gold accents and lettering, printed on acid-neutral pages that are thread-sewn, not glued together. The edges of the pages are gilded with 22 kt gold to protect them further. A silk page marker is sewn into the binding and silk moire endpapers. The raised spine bands give the book a distinctive Easton Press look.
There is rubbing and shelfware on the board's edges: corners, head, and, more prominent on the tail. The binding is firm, the text block is clean and unmarked with the exception of a hint of foxing on the gilded edges.
